I don’t know if any of you have heard the recent story in the news about Nubs, an Iraqi dog, rescued and brought to the States. Now, officers are not permitted to keep dogs, but what happens when the dog wants to keep the officers?

The amazing story of Nubs has been recorded by Maj. Brian Dennis in his new childrens book ” Nubs: the True Story of a Mutt, a Marine and a Miracle”. Nubs is an amazing dog, despite being wild was very affectionate and formed a special bond with Maj. Brian Dennis. Nubs, got his name because someone had cut off his ears.

Maj. Dennis formed a special relationship with Nubs but when it was time to leave on a patrol that would take him 75 miles away he thought he would never see his canine pal again. BUT to his surprise 2 days later Nubs showed up at their new location.
